For the last few weeks we had so much stuff to do and I didn't have any time at all to update my blog or get to the internets whatsoever.

But now im back to serve you all the fresh crazy shit from the depths of the internet. So keep an eye out for my blog.

Ark music factory + Rebecca Black

Many of you have may have already stumbled across the Rebecca Black's Friday music video on youtube. It has over 46 million views and is quite the "hot shit" at the moment.

Rebecca Black is a 13 year old teenager from Anaheim Hills California who rose to fame when her music video went viral on youtube. The musicvideo was uploaded to youtube on February 10, 2011 and received approximately 1,000 views in the first month. Not so well huh? The video went viral on about March 11, 2011, getting millions of views on YouTube in a matter of days, becoming the most-talked-about topic on Twitter. It also recieved mostly negative media coverage. Rebecca Black also visited The tonight show with Jay Leno to discuss about the negative attention. She also performed "Friday" on the same show.

Now as many of you know the song is annoying as fuck and the lyrics are dull and stupid.
Here's a small part:

"Yesterday was Thursday, Thursday
Today i-is Friday, Friday (Partyin’)
We-we-we so excited
We so excited
We gonna have a ball today

Tomorrow is Saturday
And Sunday comes after...wards
I don’t want this weekend to end"

The song has been titled as "the worst song ever" and no wonder. But is Rebecca Black really the one to be blamed?

Well... No.

The record company responsible for the song is called "ARK Music factory" here is some info about them from wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ARK_Music_Factory)

Ark Music Factory is a small vanity record label based in Los Angeles, California. Ark's business centers on the recruitment/discovery of new young singers. Ark then writes music with (or for) these singers and records them, often producing music videos of these songs. According to the company's Myspace page, they categorize themselves as an indie record label. They state that their main objectives are to bring aspiring acts to the musical fore: "We at ARK make it possible for an emerging artist to be discovered, defined and delivered, to advance in their chosen career and be successful." Ark is predominantly based in the US, although they claim that artists they have supported have had success in different regions across the globe.

In a nutshell
1. Rich parents want to make their kid a pop sensation
2. They pay for Ark music factory to write a song and make a music video for their kid
3. The kid performs the (shitty)song
4. They get (negative) attention!

Rebecca Black's parents paid 1,500$ to Ark music factory to produce the song and musicvideo for "Friday"
Aint that some shit? Here are couple other brilliant artists from Ark music factory for you to enjoy!

CJ Farm - Ordinary pop star

Alana Lee - Butterflies

Wow. Just.. wow. Pretty original lyrics eh?
